How to discover, install, and activate apps

Finding an app in the catalog and turning it on for your workspace.

What this does

Adds a new app to your workspace and turns it on.

Who can do this

Anyone with workspace-apps management permission (tenant admins and owners by default).

Steps

1. Go to Apps.

2. Browse or search the catalog.

3. Open an app you want, and choose Install.

4. If it isn't active yet, choose Activate.

What happens next

Once active, the app's features and any settings/permission entries it adds become available to whichever roles are granted access to it.

Important notes

• Some apps require a specific plan tier or an add-on entitlement — if Install is disabled, it will tell you what plan or add-on is required.
