Why can't I see this feature?

The real reasons a menu item, button, or page might not be visible to you.

What this does

Walks through the actual reasons something is invisible or blocked, in the order they're worth checking.

Who can do this

Anyone can read this; fixing most of these requires a workspace administrator.

What happens next

Navigation only ever hides things you likely can't use — it never grants access on its own. In order of likelihood:

1. Your role doesn't include the permission the feature needs — ask your administrator to check Access > Roles.

2. The feature belongs to an app that isn't installed or active for your workspace — an admin can check Settings > Apps.

3. The feature is gated to a specific department, team, or individual assignment you're not part of.

4. You're looking at the wrong navigation shell — Staffintra has two visual layouts (a classic sidebar and a newer one); a link's exact position can differ between them even though the underlying feature is identical.

5. Rarely, a page hasn't fully loaded yet — Staffintra loads permission data on sign-in, and a very slow network can make a feature appear missing for a few seconds before it renders.

Troubleshooting

• A whole app/module seems entirely missing, not just one action inside it — usually a module that isn't installed or is locked to a higher plan — check Apps, or ask an administrator to check Settings > Apps.

• You can see a page but every action on it is disabled — you likely have view-only access to that feature — this is normal and by design, not a bug.
