Concept ยท Audience: tenant-owner

A checklist of what to configure, in order, before rolling Staffintra out to your whole team.

What this does

Summarizes the dependency order for a smooth first rollout, since several features only work correctly once an earlier one is configured.

Who can do this

The tenant owner, typically alongside whoever they designate as an administrator.

  1. Company/branding/domain.

  2. Departments (if you plan to scope anything by department).

  3. Roles & permissions, if the defaults don't match your structure.

  4. Invite your team.

  5. Configure Clock In settings before anyone starts using attendance.

  6. Turn on productivity/activity tracking and decide what it collects, before asking anyone to install the Desktop Agent or browser extension.

  7. Set organization-wide classification rules for the apps/sites your team actually uses (My Productivity will show "Unclassified" for anything with no rule).

  8. Install apps you need from the Apps catalog and connect any integrations.

  9. Set up automations once your core workflows are stable enough to automate.

  10. Review your plan and billing details.

Important notes

  • Attendance and productivity tracking are independent of each other โ€” you can turn on one without the other.

  • Classification rules can always be added later for anything that shows as Unclassified; nothing is lost by rolling this out incrementally.
